rethinking hinges

For my second project i decided to rethink the way usual hinges are designed until now. I refuse to agree that the attatchmentbase always has to be a flat square. I think that, by calculating the specific loadcases for differet hinge-types, i could come to a more matertialefficient, lasting and interesting typology.
The first few calculations seem to be not that helpful: the setup of a moving load appeared a bit difficult. I proceeded with calculating different 2D-loadcases and layering them to an optimized, more or less planar structure.
That way, i came up with a heavy-duty-hinge with high stability.
