Transferring to the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
If you would like to transfer from your present university to the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, you first have to apply for admission to the degree programme of your choice at the semester of entry which you desire. Like first-semester students, you must submit your application within the application period and meet the conditions of the selection process, if applicable. In the application form, we ask you to enter the semester, at which you would like to enrol. After reviewing your prior academic achievement, the responsible examination committee will make a final decision as to which semester you may enter the degree programme. The committee has the right to attach specific conditions to its decision.
Upon receiving notification of admission from the Student Office, you can enrol paying the semester contribution. You can also send us confirmation of your health insurance cover and the completed thoska card application by post. Your enrolment is official as soon as you receive your student ID card and your certificates of enrolment.
Changing degree programmes at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
If you already study at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and wish to switch into a different degree programme, please complete the processing form. You need not apply online as we already have your data.
