At the Summaery 2023, we presented approaches and initial results of the first projects from the four faculties of the university that experimentally deal with the topic of "learning with objects" in real and virtual space. Furthermore, we presented a collaborative project by Alexander König and his students in the Hybrid Learning Studio, Non Machine-Machine Integration.

In the Learning with objects project Wahr-Nehmen Spaziergang in die Sinne with Lectureship Film and Media Studies Dr. Simon Frisch and collaborator Makiko Nishikaze, forms of analogue and digital mediation were explored using the digital collaboration platform Conceptboard. The board collected many exercises for conscious perception: listening, seeing and more - with links to audiovisual examples, instructions and texts. As a final documentation, this conceptboard was tested on various screens in the hybrid learning studio.

Students from the product design project module "Misfits" from the Faculty of Art and Design presented their prototype designs in hybrid format. The module is part of collaborator Philipp Georg Enzmann's research focus for Learning with objects and its topic Digital-material Objecthood: New Teaching and Learning Potentials through Creative Human-Robot Interaction.

After the recent construction work, visitors were invited to the first insight into the Hybrid Learning Studio and watched President Prof. Peter Benz, Vice President Prof. Dr. Christian Koch and Prof. Jörn Hintzer jointly cut the red ribbon. The Lernraum.Bauhaus team then presented the spatial and technical possbilities of the studio which included a live link to Jenny Brockmann and Moritz Wehrmann in their bauhaus.medien.bühnen labor from the Faculty of Media at the Schwanseestraße campus. Thus, showcasing the idea of combining two locations into a hybrid stage.

Learning with objects collaborator Margarita Beltran worked with the Metaverse platform Topia and tested its potential in the hybrid learning studio as a teaching and learning tool in hybrid format. To evaluate this potential, both her students and the Lernraum.Bauhaus team completed a series of photo assignments from her Decolonizing Eyes course as online and face-to-face participants.

For Summaery 2022, we opened a pop-up installation at the site of the future hybrid learning studio to present our ideas for possible hybrid learning scenarios. Our goal is to not only learn about the wishes and requirements of students and teachers, but to inspire and search for solutions with them so that we can test future learning scenarios in the following winter semester.
In addition, we presented approaches and first results of five initial projects from the four faculties of the university which experimentally deal with the topic of "learning with objects" in real and virtual space.

At the DTL22 (Day of Teaching and Learning) at the Bauhaus University Weimar we presented our "PopUp-Learning Studio" - a first glimpse of the future hybrid Learning Studio.
In a joint exchange with students and teachers, we discussed what hybrid means and the possibilities that could occur within this specially developed spatial setting.
