Impressions from the Hannover Messe 2025
Jasmine Aschoff and Adrian Tutal from the Professorship of Building Chemistry and Polymer Materials presented their research projects »Verkapselung von Wirkstoffen im Beton« and »Photokatalytische Geopolymerbeschichtung«. The projects emerged as sub-projects of the »Funktionalisierung smarter Werkstoffe unter Mehrfeldanforderungen für die Verkehrsinfrastruktur« project.
Dr. Katrin Linne and Julian Pracht from the team of inventors at the Professorship of Construction Design and Structural Design were on site at the event. On Wednesday, which was referred to as Thuringia Day, they presented the patent application for their »Mikrowellenstroh« (microwave straw) and »Masonry Made from Thin-Bed Mortar and Straw Bricks« together with Vice President Dr. Ulrike Kuch. This was followed by discussions with, among others, Colette Boos-John, Thuringian Minister of »Wirtschaft, Landwirtschaft und Ländlichen Raum«.
