Creative opposition to digital fascism: seminar invites students to de-radicalise

Workshop participants consider the mechanisms of right-wing radicalisation that are used online, for example on TikTok, and examine how the dynamics of hate and hate speech are spread. They will then work together to develop their own artistic concepts and interventions demonstrating how digital radicalisation can be analysed critically, disrupted creatively and positive counter-narratives reinforced. In short, how to counteract radicalisation.

The outcomes will be presented on 7 September 2025 during a public finissage at the Museum of Forced Labour under National Socialism. The accompanying programme will comprise discussions and artistic contributions.

Students from all disciplines are warmly invited to participate: No prior knowledge is required, only an interest and desire to actively participate is needed. The seminar provides students with an opportunity to rethink digital spaces and implement their own ideas in practice.
