Who knows more about a degree programme than the students themselves? Bauhaus.Botschafter are experts in their own degree programmes: they provide prospective students and those still undecided with all the key information and help them make the right choice. Guided tours of the laboratories, workshops and studios, or bespoke workshops – depending on your interests, our ambassadors will show you the parts of the university that are particularly exciting for you. Registering in good time makes our planning easier!
Our Bauhaus.Botschafter offer various tours: the campus tour takes in faculties, workshops and laboratories, as well as the Campus Office (approx. 1 hour). The faculty tour provides an overview of all the faculties at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar: a brief visit to all four faculties – Media, Architecture and Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Art and Design – takes around 45 minutes.

Are you studying at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and would like to share your experiences of university life?
Then become a Bauhaus.Botschafter!
As a Bauhaus.Botschafter, you’ll take school pupils interested in studying on guided tours of the campus. You’ll show your groups the lecture theatres, workshops and laboratories, and answer questions about your own degree programme, the university and student life in Weimar. You’ll organise your own tours, make arrangements with the workshop leaders and may even be able to offer a workshop on your field of study.
Before you start, there’ll be an induction session run by the General Student Advisory Service, and the current ambassadors will be on hand to offer advice whenever you need it.
If you have skills in editing, video and photography, we’re also looking for support for our editorial team.
