The International PhD Network (IPN) supports doctoral candiates in Weimar – with passion, dedication, and a sense of community.
The IPN’s Role:
Providing assistance with finding accommodation, legal matters, and social or cultural issues for international doctoral candidates
Helping to organise interdisciplinary events (e.g. PhD Night Out or alumni talks)
Strengthening exchange and networking amongst doctoral candidates
► The work is voluntary, but there is a small budget for events. ► The Bauhaus Research School as well as the International Office will support you in bringing your ideas for the network to life. ► You will gain valuable experience in communication, organisation, intercultural collaboration and networking. ► In recognition of your commitment, you will receive an official certificate which can serve as proof of your voluntary work, for example when applying for jobs.
» We are looking for 2 doctoral candidates to lead the IPN as a coordination team from September onwards. » Do you have an international background and would you like to help foster a sense of community among doctoral candidates at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar? If so, please get in touch with us by email at research-school[at]uni-weimar.de
