Do you have an innovative, creative or social start-up idea and need support and time to develop and implement it? Would you like to exchange ideas with other people interested in starting a business and expand your network? With the six-month neudeli Fellowship start-up program, we enable you to take your idea forward!

The neudeli Fellowship is aimed at students, alumni, doctoral candidates and academic and artistic staff from all departments at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Both innovative technology-oriented start-up projects and ideas from the fields of social and creative entrepreneurship are supported. Participation in the neudeli Fellowship is possible as an individual or in a team.

Welche Elemente umfasst das Fellowship?

The neudeli Fellowship provides you with a framework of different event formats that help you to develop your idea in a structured way. Within six months, you will attend mandatory workshops, our so-called startup workshops. These are supplemented by community events, peer group learning and individual coaching sessions: 

Startup Workshop:In our startup workshops you will learn exciting methods and tools that will lead you from your idea to a successful innovation in the market. These include design thinking, brand building, user research and business modeling. You can acquire more in-depth knowledge on startup-related topics in advanced neudeli workshops.
Coaching:
In personal one-on-one sessions, you work together with the neudeli coaches on your project-specific challenges and receive constructive feedback to develop your project step by step.
Community:At neudeli community events you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other founders and supporters, make new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere and strengthen your network.

Wie werde ich neudeli Fellow?

To apply for the neudeli Fellowship, you need to submit an idea paper. This serves as the basis for the initial review round and should present your startup idea clearly and convincingly.

Your submission will be reviewed by us in an initial screening round based on the following criteria:

  • Comprehensibility of the idea
  • Uniqueness/innovativeness
  • Economic potential

In a second stage, the best applicants are invited to pitch to the Fellowship jury. In this jury session, the most promising ideas will be awarded and accepted into our fellowship program.

You can apply for the neudeli Fellowship with your idea using our online form. We recommend that you have a brief conversation with us before submitting your application. This way, we can clarify together whether the program is right for you and what you should pay attention to when applying.

1. The data provided by you in the form will be processed by us only for the purpose indicated according to article 6, paragraph 1, letter e, DSGVO, the processing of your data is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest. In the event of a positive initial assessment by the staff of the neudeli, the personal data will be passed on to a jury. The finalists will be informed in writing of the composition of the jury.
