Lucas Möllers has been an external Ph.D. student in the Media Management Department of the Faculty of Media at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar since August 2025. His supervisors are Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kunz, chair holder of “Innovation Management and Media”, and FH-Prof. PD Dr. habil. Johannes Siebert, Professor of Decision Sciences and Behavioral Economics, MCI – The Entrepreneurial School, Innsbruck, Austria.
Lucas Möllers conducts his research on the strategic management of trade and business publishers in the age of artificial intelligence. He is interested in objectives and conflicting objectives, decision modeling and decision-making, as well as the theoretical framework of artificial intelligence. At the same time, he works as a technical editor and reports on various industries of the German economy.
Lucas Möllers earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Konstanz, majoring in literature, art, and media. For this degree, he completed two semesters abroad at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Faculty of Western Languages and Literatures. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Media Culture and Media Economics from the University of Bayreuth.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the mountains and exploring historical topics related to culture and society.
