Anna-Mishale Ilovar has been pursuing her doctorate at the Bauhaus University Weimar in the Department of Media Management at the Chair of Innovation Management and Media since April 2025. Her dissertation is supervised by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kunz (primary supervisor) and Prof. Dr. Dr. Castulus Kolo (secondary supervisor). She also works as a research assistant at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
Prior to this, she completed her master's degree in Media and Communication Management at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences and her bachelor's degree in English/American Studies and Intercultural Business Communication at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena and the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
Her work as a research assistant includes conducting seminars and exercises in the fields of media, communication and management.
In her dissertation project, she systematically analyses how AI-based technologies act as independent actors within creative value creation. In doing so, she particularly focuses on the concept of creativity in the context of AI implementation in the creative industry.
Her research interests lie in artificial intelligence, the creative industry and value creation through co-creation.
In her free time, she enjoys travelling, playing badminton and doing yoga.
