Presentation at the Bauhaus Summer School "NextGen Engineers – Advanced Training Courses for a Sustainable Tomorrow" on image-based damage detection for structural inspection.

The Geo-spatial Monitoring (GSM) sub-exam of the Structural Parameter Survey and Evaluation module will be held on August 8, 2025, starting at 9 am in lecture hall B at Marienstraße 13.

The repeat exam for the course Photogrammetric Computer Vision (PCV) will take place on 5th of August 2025, starting at 1 pm in seminar room A at Bauhausstraße 11.

The Geodesy exam will be held on August 5, 2025 at 9:00 am in lecture hall B.

The repeat exam for the course parallel and distributed systems (PVS) will take place on 4th of August 2025, starting at 10 am in seminar room A (Bauhausstraße 11).

The exam for the course Image Analysis and Object Recognition (IAOR) will take place on 29th of July 2025, starting at 10 am in lecture halls A, B and C (Marienstraße 13). Classification depends on your matriculation number (see Moodle course and CV website).

The Spatial Information Systems (GIS) repeat exam will be held on July 22, 2025 at 1 pm in seminar room A (Bauhausstraße 11).

As part of summaery2025, the CV Lab with the 3D-RealityCapture-ScanLab is open. Mariya Kaisheva presents the project “Realistic Relighting of Point Clouds”.

The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Teaching Prize 2025 was awarded on July 10. The Computer Vision team won the teaching prize for the Faculty of Media with the modules “Image Analysis and Object Recognition (IAOR)”, “Spatial Information Systems (GIS)” and “Deep Learning for Computer Vision (DLCV)”. We are particularly pleased about this recognition and would like to say thank you!

Thomas Gebhardt successfully defended his PhD thesis, which focused on the development of a fibre optic tilt measurement system for structural monitoring.
