The Geo-spatial Monitoring (GSM) sub-exam of the Structural Parameter Survey and Evaluation module will be held on March 1, 2024, starting at 9 am in seminar room 205 (Marientraße 7B).

The repeat exam for the course Geodesy will be held on February 27, 2024 at 9 am in lecture hall A.

The exam Parallel and Distributed Systems (PVS) will take place on February 16, 2024, at 9:30 am in seminar room 2.16 (Schwanseestraße 143). Exam registration via the Bison portal is possible until February 1.

The final exam for the course Photogrammetric Computer Vision (PCV) will take place on 15th of February, at 10 am, in Audimax. Registration for this exam via the BISON portal is possible until 1st of February.

The Spatial Information Systems (GIS) exam will be held on February 13, 2024 at 1 pm in the Audimax and Lecture Hall A. Classification depends on your degree program (see Moodle course and CV website).

The repeat exam for the course Image Analysis and Object Recognition (IAOR) will take place on 12th of February, starting at 9 am in seminar room 2.16 (Schwanseestraße 143). Registration for this exam via the BISON portal is possible until 1st of February.

The taster day "BITE THE BYTES" of the computer science program at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will take place again on February 2 and 6, 2024.

The defence by Falko Horn of his bachelor's degree thesis in Informatics (Informatik) on the topic "Kombination von Photogrammetrie und Laserscanning für neuronale Strahlungsfelder" will be held on January 25th, 2024, 11.30 am.

The first workshop on "Vision-based Structural Inspections in Civil Engineering" will take place at the "IEEE/CVF Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV)" in Waikoloa, Hawaii.
The core of the workshop is the “dacl challenge”, which aims to find the best models for recognizing bridge defects and bridge components by means of semantic image segmentation.
