On 4 November 2023, the graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering were bid farewell with a traditional ceremony in the Audimax of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Dean Prof Tom Lahmer hosted the event and encouraged the young engineers to break new ground and always trust in their own abilities. The ceremony was rounded off with speeches by alumni Diego Velasquez Jofre (Leviat GmbH) and Janna Bülow (Master of Environmental Engineering). The best theses were honoured with the Erhard Hampe Sponsorship Award and the thomas zement Sponsorship Award 2023. Prof Peter Benz, President of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, and University Chancellor Dr Horst Henrici were among the 450 guests.
