Introduction to urban design
The weekly lecture deals with the basic principles of the city and urban design. It is about urban structure and urban space, the history of the city, aspects of public and private, the significance of public space and the diverse and magnificent cultures of the urban. The lecture provides the basics for understanding the city and the country, introduces the repertoire of urban design and explains methods of urban perception as well as the practice of urban designing.
