Hannah Höch gilt als eine der Erfinder*innen der Collage und Fotomontage. Ihr Werk wurde während der Nazi-Zeit als »Entartete Kunst« verboten. Die Auseinandersetzung mit ihrem Leben und Werk soll die Studierenden sensibilisieren und für ihre eigene Behandlung zeitgenössischer Demokratiethemen (wie z.B. Rassismus, (völkischer) Nationalismus; Nationalsozialismus; Antisemitismus; Migrations- oder Genderfragen etc.) inspirieren.
Das Bauhaus.Modul wird durch den Sonderfonds »Demokratie stärken« gefördert.
