The International Bauhaus-Network of Generations is a global, interdisciplinary and lifelong network of all current and former members, partners, patrons and supporters of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. An essential part of this network is the constantly growing group of alumni, which already unites almost 5,000 former students in over 70 countries. The aim is to promote the interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge, experience and opinions between students, alumni, professors and staff across all faculties and departments of the university and beyond national borders. The International Bauhaus-Network of Generations thus forges links between art and technology, theory and practice, science and business. At the same time, it forms the foundation for interdisciplinary projects and collaborations. This results in visible and sustainable benefits for research, teaching and transfer.
