This workshop will focus on the reasons for good research data management and how to create a data management plan as a basis for project applications to third-party funding organisations. For the implementation of research data management, support services and various principles and models will be presented, such as the FAIR principles, the 5S Data Model or the 3-2-1 backup rules.
