Project goals:

• Consolidation of the various traffic and environmental data
• Development of software tools for operational strategy management
• Quality and impact analysis of traffic management measures
• Dissemination of strategy-compliant routing recommendations via various information channels
• Development of the SCHOOL app for the delivery of individual recommendations to road users
• Implementation and testing of an incentive system to reward road users for their behavioural recommendations.

Bauhaus University has contributed significantly to this by working on the development of an evaluation framework for the traffic and environmental assessment of traffic management measures. In addition, pilot applications in Dortmund (traffic management), Frankfurt/Main (environmentally oriented traffic management) and Kassel (alternative route control) were evaluated from a traffic and environmental perspective. In addition, the scientists developed and evaluated viable business models based on the products used and developed in SCHOOL. 

The presentation of the project results will take place on Thursday, 25.02.2021, 9.00-12.30 on the YouTube channel of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. The event is open to interested parties.
