Pro-GREEN-LABs is organized into eight interlinked Work Packages (WPs), each contributing to the overall goals of the project. These packages address coordination, curriculum development, interdisciplinary collaboration, mobility and long-term impact. Together, they support a transformative and practice-oriented approach to architectural education focused on sustainability and green competences.
WP1: Project Management and Coordination
Establishing smooth, effective management and coordination procedures to ensure on-time, on-budget project implementation and strong communication among partners.
WP2: Preparation
Leading the project by refining its approach and focus through targeted surveys, best practices, and strategic planning. Outcomes will shape the next phases and lay the foundation for key project outputs.
WP3: Development I: LAB Network
Establishing lab units with strong internal and external integration by building essential hard capacities, including equipment, software, and organizational structure. Supported by benchmarking visits for effective, sustainable operation
WP4: Development II: Modernizing Curricula
Modernizing curricula at South and Eastern Mediterranean Higher Education Institutions (SEMED HEIs) to address urban sustainability, integrating emerging tech, best practices, and interdisciplinary knowledge, in collaboration with EU partners and stakeholders.
WP5: Development III: Training
Enhancing competences of HEI staff to deliver new curricula and lab units effectively, ensuring long-term sustainability through targeted training based on capacity surveys.
WP6: Synergized Lab-Curriculum Delivery
Delivering the master’s program at University of Petra (UOP), modules at partner HEIs, and fully functioning lab units, using modernized curricula and joint labs. Includes testing innovative measures and ongoing evaluation to ensure sustainability.
WP7: Quality Assurance. Monitoring. Evaluation
Establishing quality control, monitoring, and evaluation processes to ensure high-quality outputs, consistency, and timely delivery of project milestones.
WP8: Dissemination. Exploitation. Sustainability
Developing and executing a comprehensive communication plan to promote the project, engage targeted audiences, and maximize impact. Includes detailed strategies for internal and external dissemination.
