Bauhaus.Podcast #5

The latest Bauhaus.Podcast takes listeners on a tour through the »Republic of Spirits, Republik der Geister!« Bauhaus festival on 12 April 2019. Weimar's two universities (the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar) joined forces to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the founding of Bauhaus, transforming thirty rooms and spaces on their premises for the occasion. Visitors had an opportunity to experience a wide variety of installations, tours, sound collages, fashion shows, and artistic spaces – a long night with lots of surprises.

The podcast begins the day before the event, covering the final preparations and an interview with one of the student organisers, and ends late at night with the last party in the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Main Building.
