We warmly invite all doctoral researchers to the Publication Day on September 24, 2025!
In 60-minute online workshops, our experts will provide valuable insights into key questions of academic publishing: How can literature be managed efficiently? What legal aspects need to be considered when using images? And what formal requirements apply when submitting a dissertation?

The section presents news from the Pro.Doc Doctoral Council and provides insights into the doctoral experience at our university.
Call for Papers - Bauhaus Colloquium for Emerging Researchers 2026
The Doctoral Council is organising the first »Bauhaus Colloquium for Emerging Researchers«, which will take place from 5th to 6th March 2026 under the title »Methods + Interdisciplinary Research Work«. By highlighting methods as the common ground, the colloquium aims to explore how different research traditions intersect and how new synergies can emerge from this in interdisciplinary collaborations.
Researchers from all disciplines are invited to submit abstracts of their research projects until 28th November 2025. The main topics to be addressed are:
- How do traditional single-discipline research, knowledge transfer, and cultures influence the methodological process?
- How do methodological approaches influence specifically research processes, formats of collaboration, and knowledge transfer?
- Which external conditions—such as funding structures, institutional frameworks, or geopolitical contexts—affect the recognition, development, and dissemination of methods?
- How do disciplinary cultures influence methodological approaches?
- How can artistic, design-based, or practice-oriented approaches extend the established methodological canon?
- How does methodological transparency contribute to countering skepticism toward science and strengthening academic transfer?
- What role are methods playing in interdisciplinary collaboration?
- What influence does interdisciplinary work have on the refinement and/or modification of supposedly established methods?
In addition, the presentation and publication of selected papers will be promoted at the XV. International Bauhaus Colloquium in November 2026.
