Liebe Alumni,
wir sind Lina Klass und Laura Simon, beide wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterinnen an der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Im Rahmen unseres Forschungsprojekts GROOVE suchen wir nach Personen, die entfernt von Familie / Freund*innen / Partner*innen leben und Interesse daran haben, VR-Spiele zu testen. Ziel des Projekts ist es herauszufinden, wie gemeinsame Aktivitäten in virtueller Realität (VR) ein Gefühl der Verbundenheit auch über Distanz schaffen können. Als Teilnehmende können Sie verschiedene VR-Spiele testen und beantworten Fragen dazu, welche Wünsche Sie für solche Spiele hätten, wenn Sie diese mit weit entfernt lebenden Personen spielen würden. Es ist keine Vorerfahrung mit VR nötig. Die Teilnahme wird etwa eine Stunde beanspruchen und findet bevorzugt in Räumen der Universität statt. Der Ort kann jedoch flexibel mit Ihnen abgestimmt werden (innerhalb von Weimar und Umgebung in Räumen, die genügend Platz und eine stabile Internetverbindung bieten).

Dear alumni,
we are Lina Klass und Laura Simon, both research assistants at the Bauhaus- University Weimar. For our research project GROOVE we are looking for people who live further away from friends / family / partner and are interested in playing VR Games. The project’s aim is to explore how shared activities in virtual reality (VR) can create a feeling of connection with people living far away. As a participant, you would try out several VR games and answer questions about what your preferences would be if you played them with people living far away. No prior experience with VR is necessary. The study will take around 1 hour and preferably takes place in university rooms. However, the location can also be arranged individually with you (in Weimar and nearer vicinity , in rooms that have enough space and a stable internet connection).
