From April 2025, Ralf Ott is an External Lecturer at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer at Bauhaus University Weimar. Starting in January 2025, he also serves as Regulatory Affairs Manager for Investment and Financing at the transmission system operator TenneT. Previously, he was Head of Policy and Regulation at Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies and held various roles in energy policy, regulation, and investment management – including at IKEM, TenneT, and Rödl & Partner. He holds a degree in economics and a master’s in energy management. His doctoral thesis on the financing of onshore wind energy was submitted in 2024; parts of his research contributed to § 6 of the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG).
