The professorship is part of the Built.Environment-Management-Institute (B-M-I) and complements the core business studies program of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering with aspects of strategic innovation and technology management, as well as entrepreneurship.
Through innovative, practice-oriented teaching and project formats, as well as the involvement of practical partners, start-ups, companies, and entrepreneurial initiatives, the professorship aims to bring students—especially those studying engineering—into contact with entrepreneurial issues at an early stage. The focus is on embedding entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving skills as an integral part of the education and qualification, and on inspiring a spirit of innovation and a vibrant entrepreneurial culture.

Bachelor's and Master's theses

To ensure optimal supervision and support for their research projects or theses, research colloquia are held regularly, where students can present and discuss the current status of their research.
