First contact with the Dancers

Last Wednesday the students met the young dancers the first time. We were invited to visit a rehearsal. Claudia Kupsch, one of the teachers, showed us different types dancing shoes and some of the costumes they have worn for previous performances. Furthermore, we had the chance to discuss our initial costume ideas with the dancers and their teachers. This field trip helped us getting a better understanding of modern dance, jazz dance, and classical ballet, as well as gaining insights into dance costumes, and their requirements.
