Bauhaus Degree Completion Scholarships
The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar awards Bauhaus Scholarships to outstanding students who can be expected to have above average performance as well as special aptitude for an area of knowledge and an equally outstanding final project.
Who is eligible to apply?
Students from all faculties of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar who will complete their studies within 12 months.
What is funded?
- A prerequisite for funding is that the independently developed final projects require a special and justified financial burden, for example project-related expenses for experimental or artistic final theses.
- The final projects are also assessed for their feasibility and prospects of success, for their relevance and, if applicable, with regard to their interdisciplinary or international orientation and the consideration of environmental aspects and sustainability.
- Social aspects, biographical hurdles and the individual potential of the students in their current life situation can be taken into account in the awarding process.
How is funding awarded?
- Number of scholarships: up to 6 final scholarships in the funding year
- Amount of funding: 450 euros x 3 months
- The start of the scholarship can be freely chosen in the funding year. As a rule, funding is provided in the form of a 3-month scholarship. In justified exceptional cases only, a single payment of the total funding amount can also be arranged.
