Dr phil Susanne Jaschko is curator of contemporary art and based in Berlin, Germany. Her curatorial practice focuses on experimental art which goes beyond art as commodity and renews the concept of art and its social and cultural functions. She was Head of Presentation and of the artist-in-residence program at the Netherlands Media Art Institute in Amsterdam from 2008/09. From 1997 to 2004 she was curator and later deputy director of transmediale.
