It is necessary for you to have a liability insurance which covers lent equipment! (Haftpflichtversicherung des Studentenwerks deckt dies nicht ab!). If you can't find something here, have a look at Equipment for a general list. If you decide to borrow something from this list the Leihordnung (in german only) applies.
