| This study of random music deals with the matter of timing. This random number values were fed into the metronomes of my patches. | The first part of the patch is responsible for the Melody. Tones are generated from the pentatonic scale, in keeping the chords of part two. Part 2 builds on the circle of fifths (limited to the C / Am-scale). Added are the major 7 and minor 7 for a jazzy sound. The Bass (Part 3) generated in a similar way the melody, but it is limited to fifths and thirds of the key of C major. The drum has four independently functioning programs. Bass drum, snare, hi-hat and claps are controlled by different tempos and switches between triplet beats, eighth, sixteenth, and 4/4. This construct is my first tutorial to random music. The following patch controls various instruments of Rj library.
