The Antropocene leaves its mark. All too often, they are an expression of brute force against nature, but also of people who forget that they are a part of it. But the resilience of nature is enormous, it always finds a way, no matter what you do to it. I also see this power in human nature. I would like to search for traces in Narva, for stories of resilience and resistance, of courage, of small everyday miracles and how the history of the place has shaped the human and non-human inhabitants and contributed to their view of the world/their nature/their way of life. | The Antropocene leaves its mark. Maybe I’ll come up with a fitting question—one that invites people to write or paint their stories for me. Perhaps I can use the ash-based ink to capture impressions and experiences of all kinds. Maybe the rain or a river will blur the ink.
