Ursel Quint (*1958 in Bonn ) lebt in Bonn, wo sie eine Stelle als Klavierdozentin an der städtischen Musikschule inne hat. Ihre pianistische Ausbildung umfasst Studien an der Musikhochschule Köln (Reifeprüfung), der Indiana University of Bloomington , USA (Artist Diploma) und der Musikhochschule Zürich (Konzertexamen). Später schloss sie ein Studium der Germanistik und Literaturwissenschaft an der Bonner Universität an. Ihre langjährige Konzerttätigkeit umfasst Solo- und Kammermusikrecitals sowie Auftritte mit Orchestern. Zusätzlich arbeitete sie als Korrepetitorin am Theater und bei Tanzcompagnien und begleitete live dargebotene Stummfilme. Schwerpunkt ihrer pianistischen Tätigkeit war vor allem die Zusammenarbeit mit zeitgenössischen Komponisten, was zu zahlreichen Uraufführungen führte.
Seit Sommer 2009 arbeitet sie zusammen mit Barry L. Roshto als Medienkunst Duo Snowkrash, das Untersuchungen in der Beziehung zwischen Bild und Klang unternimmt.
In ihrer Arbeit im Medienkunstbereich beschäftigt sie sich entsprechend ihrer künstlerischen Herkunft mit der Verknüpfung vorproduzierter Klänge mit live gespielter Musik. Ferner liegt ihr Interesse im Bereich der Videokunst und deren Beziehung zum Klang.

Ursel Quint (*1958 in Bonn) lives in Bonn where she teaches piano at the municipal music conservatory. Her pianistic training began at the Musikhochschule in Cologne (Baccalaureate). Further studies at Indiana University of Bloomington in the USA (Artist Diploma), concluding with a concert diploma from the Musikhochschule in Zurich. She continued her studies at the University in Bonn in German language and literature. She has some 30 years of solo and chamber music concert experience, as well as solo performances with orchestra. She has extensive experience as accompanist in theatre and dance productions, and has performed live to film presentations. A central focus point of her pianistic career has been the collaboration with contemporary composers, leading to numerous premier performances of their works. Since the summer of 2009 she has been working in a collaborative project with Barry L. Roshto as the Media Art Duo Snowkrash, which concerns itself primarily with the relationship of image and sound.
Her Media Art work, as one could expect in regards to her artistic background, concerns itself primarily with the tension between electronic reproductions of processed material and live performance. Furthermore, she interests herself intensively with the roll of sound in video art.
