"Beyond the Paper?" - Workshops & Keynote

What impact could your research have—beyond publication?
Are you working on a research topic and wondering how it could lead to concrete applications or opportunities for use? In the half-day format “Beyond the Paper?”, we explore together how academic results can be translated into real-world scenarios—whether through collaborations with practice partners, follow-up projects, or as a starting point for new career paths.
What to expect:
The event is primarily aimed at academic and artistic staff, doctoral candidates, and professors who want to explore how their research can create impact beyond publication. In four hands-on workshops, speakers will present methods and approaches to help derive tangible next steps—from AI-supported use cases and strategic positioning using the Technology Readiness Level (TRL), to analyzing innovation potential and personal career perspectives. A concluding keynote talk will complement the program with practical insights from real-world transfer contexts.
