Bauhaus.Interaction Kolloquium: »Designing Mixed Reality and Tangible Data Experiences with Artists and Ingenous Communities«

Prof. Daniel Keefe (Univ. of Minnesota) works in data visualisation and interactive computer graphics, as well as doing digital art. His talk will describe co-design processes, artifacts, and lessons learned trom two projects. The first is a collaboration between technologists, visual artists, and climate scientists, the second with a community of climate and economic refugees trom Micronesia who have settled in Minnesota. In both projects, including physical inputs and outputs was key to creating experiences that are inviting, dignity-affirming, and useful.

BIK is an interdisciplinary and international talk series that aims to go across disciplines, with a focus on interactive technology. The Colloqium was initiated 2014 and has had 34 lectures so far - now back with an in-person talk.
