The original idea was to create the Drehorgel out of cardboard. The major cogwheel would be rotated by a smaller cogwheel, which can be rotated using a handle outside the box. With cardboard, however, the audience couldn't see the interaction between the piezo and materials, and that was one of the goals for this assignment. So I decided to use metal spokes as the alternative material for design simplicity and transparency.
