The course focuses on developing simple applications with Max/MSP/Jitter, a visual programming language for music and multimedia. The goal of the course is the understanding of how to manipulate image in Max. Students will be expected to develop weekly tasks, which will become basis for a future Max applications. The tasks will include programming graphics, animating graphics, sound to image conversion, feedback loops, and sensing physical data.

The course extends the project module From Random To Fiction. During the semester we will develop individual projects, document and present them on the GMU Wiki.
