I am interested in how people move around in public spaces and research user behavior patterns in public space. For example, when landscape designer planning paths in a park, mostly according to their subjective perspective. My idea is to build simulation scenarios, it will enable participants to walk through the virtual reality of the environments and understand their demand in the public space. On one hand, participants route can be analyzed and recorded by computer and it may be useful for designer’s planning. On the other hand, the public can participate in the design process.
