Concept
A river of city circulates physically and (perhaps) mentally with the citizens_ This work metaphorically expresses my current physical and mental state through the microscopic world in water drop mixed with two rivers, Anseong (Korea) and Weimar (Germany), which closely connected to me.

Microorganisms in the water drop are observed through a microscope and recorded on video. The video is shown on the big screen in real time. The data of the movement of microorganisms are converted into sound data values. Sound is generated and played back in real time.
왜 물방울인가? 왜 강물인가?
나는 도시의 강물과 시민들이 같은 육체를 공유한다고 생각한다. 도시의 사람들은 강물을 마신다. 사람이 배설하면서 생산된 오수는 정화과정을 거쳐 다시 강으로 돌아간다. 강물은 다시 우리가 마시는 물이 된다. 우리의 신체(근육과 피)는 물로 이루어져 있다. 물성으로서의 적합성. 한방울의 물 + 한방울의 물 = 한방울의 물. 서로 분리되지 않고 하나가 되는 물의 물성. 1+1 =1 .
나의 의심? 너무 개인적인 이야기를 주제로 담지 않는가? 안될 이유도 없지만, 왠지 마음이 불편하다. 그 이유에 대해 고민할 것.
