Materials:

  • Medium of my Project:
    • 100 ml of distilled water
    • 2 g of agar

mix Agar with water and microwave it till it starts to boil fill the petri dishes and let it cool down till its gel extract parts from another culture of physarum and oat flakes attach it to the medium

  • I fed the plasmodium (alive already) with oats (I placed the organism in the middle) at surround the petri dishes to see what happens. After feeding I placed them in complete darkness with 25°C.
  • The final idea of the project:

The idea is to create a video in which an algorithmic design of a physarum is done and made. How can this exact physarum be obtained and some of the images from how it appears under the microscope? This video will accompany the examples of this sample growth.
