Proposal
For the final project, I would like to combine generative visualization and generative music by detecting the smoke in a space. Then “smoking” is not only the moment for relax but also could let people create something during the time when they are smoking. At the same time, it would trigger more interesting conversations and interactions among the people. In this project, smokers will be kind of atmosphere producers. They smoke, create the patterns on the wall in a space and also make the music. There are two dark rooms: one is for detecting the smoke and creating the light(white), another is playing generated music by detected smoke in the first room and the pattern on the wall is that I tried to symbolize the lung when people smoke.
