Adobe Brackets], ein "Editor" also ein Schreibprogramm für Code. Frei und einfach zu bedienen, mit Vorschaufunktion ()

Tools Mozilla – they have a very nice explanations and usecases as they are made for purposes like ours! They got as well a remix platform, where existing webpages can be forked and changed. This is didactically nice as it gives a rather immediate sense of archivement.

   Live-Previewing-Editor: https://thimble.webmaker.org/en-US
kinda education version of Firebug: https://goggles.webmaker.org/en-US

Brackets: Nice local Editor. For the reason of didactics I prefer Mozilla much, but if a local editor is needed/wanted this is possibly the best: It offers instant preview, has a nice autocomplete (for files etc. too!), live checking and is free/open software.

Artworks Olia Lialina: http://www.teleportacia.org/war/war.html (HTML/Images, 1996) I like this, since its liks, images and a famous piece of net art nevertheless. Didactics In order to involve advanced and beginning students as well, it might be nice to do group works in which the students could:

Create Defintions and Explain concepts. Possibly using the jigsaw method:
   Solve Problems

Good tools as well

   Short Talks (2-5min)
   Give working, tryable Examples
Activate exisiting knowledge at start (feels better to know already something, new stuff is learnined easier herafter)
