DAS PROJEKT

Im Sommersemester 2012 wurde der Lehrbereich für experimentelle Television von Maurice van Brast (xtvlab) vertreten.

Zu Beginn des Projekts wurde eine Übersicht über filmische Genres und deren Eigenheiten vermittelt, vom Experimentalfilm über filmische Essays, klassische narrative Formate wie Spielfilm und Kurzfilm sowie nicht fiktionale Formate wie Porträt, Reportage und Dokumentationen.

Direkt im Anschluss erfolgte eine Einführung in Bildgestaltung, Kamera und Schnitt.

Jeder Projektteilnehmer erstellt eigenständig 3 Beiträge in verschiedenen filmischen Gattungen. Bühne, Studio und öffentliches Labor ist dabei das Atrium in Weimar.

Die Ergebnisse des Projekts werden an einem vom Atrium Weimar veranstalteten Wettbewerb teilnehmen.

THE PROJECT

In the summer semester 2012, the department for experimental Television was represented by Maurice van Brast (xtvlab).

Step one: An overview about film genres and their special characteristics: experimental film, cinematic essays, classic narrative formats such as feature movies, shorts, portraits, nonfictional such as reports and documentaries.

Step two: An introduction to image design, cinematography and editing.

Step three: Every participant will create independently three different posts in the film genre of his or her choice. Stage, Studio and public Lab is the Atrium in Weimar.

Step four: The results of the project will participate in the movie competition organized by the Atrium Weimar.
