This ''knowledge database'' is an incomplete and very subjective list of references, recommended media, etc. that we (the [[IFD:Start|Interface Design]] staff) would like to recommend to you, if you're studying media art + design. Also, this is our attempt of compiling the things that people expect you to know as an artist/designer/researcher in the field of media/interaction/electronics/etc... While this sounds like it is a mandatory list of things you should know, please keep in mind that we are only speaking of our own experiences.
