First Test of Physarum for my Project

  • Medium: 01.01.2019
    • 100 ml of distilled water
    • 2g of agar
    • oat flakes
  • Mix Agar with water and microwave it till it starts to boil
  • Fill the petri dishes and let it cool down till its gel
  • Extract parts from another culture of physarum and oat flakes attach it to the medium
  • I fed the plasmodium (alive already) with oats (I placed the organism in the middle) at surround the petri dishes to see what happens. After feeding I placed them in complete darkness with 25°C.
