Detachable organ

In the supermarkt, you can find separatly organs. When your own one is not that good to use, you can just buy one and simply attach it to your body. It will temporarily work for you. Such as digest systems, ears, even heart. Maybe you can even put a third eye in your back!

Synbio Deodorant

Bacteria are responsible for the bad smell of sweat. The Synbio Deodorant makes use of modified bacteria to give your sweat an enjoyable note. Which qualities would the product design need to provide in order to host the bacteria. Would it need a special storage place in the bathroom? Are there other product you can think of in this context. eg. Toothpaste?

Cleaner

Use the synbio cleaning fluid to get rid of stains. The liquid contains a mixture of different kinds of bacteria, each specialized in one kind of stain. (like blood, sweat, wine, grass...) The bacterias digest the stain. This means the kind of bacteria will multiply, which is specialized in the stain you need to get rid of! --JanD 12:52, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Bio light

The liquid, containing bioluminiscent bacteria, can be applied on any surface where light is needed. If the surface provides nutrients, the light is permanent. Just put it on the pavement to guide people to your party or on the ceiling of your room. (different colors available!) --JanD 14:06, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

Synbio Beer

Bacterias or yeast cells are used since a long time for brewing beer."Bionade" uses fermentation for producing a harmless acid which creates the typical taste. What about other drinks produced by bacterias in strange tastes or looks? One could produce as well drinks for one specific person: A kit would be provided for breeding cells for your perfect beer or lemonade in a simple way e.g. one could simply select the "best tasting" bacteria and experiment further... --JanD 13:19, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Data Save

The concept is not fully fleshed out yet, but we could save data in DNA too. This could be used as a USB flash drive-replacement or for hiding data. Natural bacteria in or on the body could be used as well, so you will never be without your files. --JanD 13:19, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

med plaster

Similar to my proposed idea of producing medicine via an implanted organ. People would apply a plaster which contains bacteria producing a drug. The skin would serve as interchange media to get the drug in the body and measure the concentration of the drug (via sweat or blood) to create a feedback loop. There are plasters with drugs on the market for smoking dehabituation --JanD 21:18, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
