Beating obesity by approaching the topic as follows: Our goal is to engineer a strain of Lactobacillus to express the enzymes required for the synthesis of cellulose (a bio-polymer which is non-toxic and non-digestible for humans) from glucose (sugar) in an attempt to reduce the caloric intake of obese individuals.

Scientists brought to light that glutamate stops our reflex to stop eating when we are full by destructing a special region of the hypothalamus, a central region in our brain.

To avoid this effect FULL&DONE works like a glutamate defense force that is integrated to your saliva. It detects the appearance of Glutamate. If detected, specialized bacteria create a shell around the glutamate molecule which avoid the absorption into the body.
