| During the semester I tried out a light sensor and an ultrasonic sensor with MAX / MSP, mostly to change the parameters of sound sources. I experimented with the oscillators in MAX / MSP with data received through sensors changing their parameters. I channeled this setup through guitar pedals. Using the sensors as a simple performance tool and adding a layer of physicality was fun but needed lots of tweaking to make a more stable and predictable instrument.  | |||
