Election Board Duties:
The Election Board is responsible for preparing and implementing the elections. The members must carry out their tasks impartially and conscientiously.
Election Review Committee
The members of the Election Review Committee are:

Election Review Committee Duties:
The Election Review Committee is responsible for reviewing all election-related activities in accordance with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar election regulations. The Committee is responsible for making decisions on any objections to Election Board resolutions, objections to the assignment to a faculty, decisions based on objections made by the Election Officer, and decisions regarding election challenges in the context of an election audit.
The members must carry out their tasks impartially and conscientiously.
Election Committees
The university administration and services and each of the faculties has an election committee. The committee members are appointed by the respective dean or the Chancellor.
The four faculties have one student election committee. The members of the student election committee are appointed by the StuKo (Student Government) Board.

Election Committee Duties:
The election committee supports the Election Board with preparing for and implementing elections, in particular by helping to secure a sufficient number of candidates and, if necessary, through publicly presenting candidates and tallying votes. The Election Board may assign duties to the student election committee during the course of elections. The members must carry out their tasks impartially and conscientiously.
Online Election Portal Information
The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar committees online elections are conducted with the support of POLYAS GmbH. POLYAS provides election software to the university for this purpose. The election software is individually customised for committee elections at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and operated in compliance with data protection regulations and allows simple, reliable and transparent online elections. Data of those entitled to vote are stored at the university and not passed on to POLYAS GmbH. This excludes the data of candidates running for election. POLYAS functions as a processor in accordance with university directives operates in collaboration with trusted partners. POLYAS GmbH is obligated to maintain confidentiality in their processing of data and is contractually bound to the agreed upon and legally prescribed data security measures.
