The joint workshop of the project 3D Lagebilder (BUW) and KAHR (subproject TU Kaiserslautern) with the support of THW took place from 9th-10th November 2022 in Bornheim (NRW).
In part of the collaboration between Prof. Davorin Penava (UNIOS, Croatia), Dr. Matthias Roik (Leviat) and, Prof. Lars Abrahamczyk (BUW), further successful experimental tests were performed last week (week 46).
During the period from 20th August to 2nd September 2022, the Chair of Advanced Structures took the lead in organizing the Bauhaus Summer School - Forecast Engineering, funded by DAAD. This year's forecast engineering program “Virtualization, visualization and validation of urban and structural building responses”, included diverse civil engineering projects supported by the Institute of Structural Engineering at the Bauhaus University Weimar.
The Chair of Advanced Structures has a vacancy for a student assistant. The position is initially limited to three months with a monthly working time of 30 hours and a possibility to extend.
