Project description
The print in the gas works is a collage consisting of photos of advertising and products. The image is pixelated and the motifs can only be identified by their naming. The motifs in the foreground of the collage are shown on smartphones that are in story recording mode on Instagram. I use this view like pixelation to draw attention to the digital level of today's world of images. The pixel effect is an abstraction that also aims to draw attention to the fact that digital images are always limited by their pixels.
