Which role-models do we have?
Father, Mother or the holy ghost?
Mao, Gandhi and Bill Gates?
Or is it rather Cartier-Bresson, Gursky and Cidy Sherman?
In times when long-lasting traditions will dry out and along their familiar representatives are no longer trusted, our search for identity often bounces between dedication and destruction.
With the use of journalistic reportages, portraits and staged photographs we’ll surround our role-models. With the means of photography we will try to show what we love or what disturbs that feeling.
The course is open to anybody and each level. The dates will be announced here.
To apply for the course please write an e-mail with the reason for your course choice until 06th April 2021 to Bernd Hartung: weimar@berndhartung.de
